      After 28 years in the profession, I have come across many clients who lack the basic financial literacy needed to understand the proposals I put forward, which often prevented them from adapting their financial objectives and needs to their life stage and tackling such common issues as drawing up a balance sheet or a profit and loss account, maximising savings, managing debt, securing protection, and investing.<\/p>

      It was at that moment that I decided to devote part of my time to financial education and planning, whilst continuing to work as a financial adviser \u2013 activities which are governed by different regulations but are entirely compatible.<\/p>

      Financial education should not be seen merely as an introduction to financial concepts, products or services \u2013 which do not bring about changes in citizens\u2019 habits \u2013 but rather from a more practical perspective that enables citizens to change their behaviour in the long term, offering security and confidence through the use of financial education and planning tools that have been validated using a scientific method.<\/p>

      For this reason, and in collaboration with the \u201cAssociation of Financial Educators and Planners, \u201cAEPF\u201d\u201d<\/strong>, I qualified as a certified Financial Educator and Personal Financial Planner in 2024 and took on the role of head of the association\u2019s Southern branch.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
